This session provides the basics to VOD (video-on-demand) and how to introduce other digital assets into a single cohesive lesson plan. It also shows you how with the right system, these multimedia lessons can be played back seamlessly in your classroom.
Shannon Yeager, Vice President of System Solutions, began his career in the development of scientific NMR instrumentation including the data acquisition and network-based processing required to store, compile, and visualize data sets for the National High Magnetic Field Lab and Varian Inc. Mr. Yeager was also responsible for training and human resource utilization of these instruments, which led to corporate training and management endeavors in the foodservice industries with Ruby Tuesday’s and Rare Hospitality. After owning his own successful business, Mr. Yeager decided to fulfill a life goal of teaching the next generation. Mr. Yeager taught Honors Physics, AP Physics, and computer networking at Sarasota High School. Mr. Yeager then moved to the Sarasota County District Offices and led the Instructional Technology team as it acquired and installed SAFARI Montage, a full LMS for online learning, and interactive whiteboards for every classroom. Since 2008, Mr. Yeager has handled system design and integrationof SAFARI Montage into existing customer networking, technology, and teaching practice.
